Trinetra’s Objectives

Trinetra works for the cause and care of deprived rural societies and improve their quality of life. it is integrating its programs and services and consciously moving from welfare towards development and long term sustainability for rural communities as because the community’s active involvement and support in rural development action makes the program sustainable.

Its objectives involve

To improve the socio economic condition of the small and marginalized section of the community particularly poorest of the poor, youth and women through various integrated rural development initiatives and innovations.

To setup knowledge centre for the rural people in the areas of agriculture and watershed development also other aspects of natural resource base livelihood.

To develop and implement poverty focus participatory approach in agriculture and watershed development as well as water resources development program, which is sustainable and can be replicable to other areas of its interests.

To establish village base institutions such as society, saving and thrift credit group, SHGs etc. for strengthening the process of participatory development in field of agriculture, heath etc.

To promote organic production and their marketing in the area of agriculture.

To build up the capacity of community for self – reliant so that they can be able to identify their problems and self develop the solution through team spirit.

We advocate firm social changes by adopting well planned strategies and need based approaches. Identifying the target areas and working for them systematically is our major goal.

Its team posses professionals hailing from various fields

A half decade of successful experience in working with resource poor areas and with marginalized community in the field of natural resource management

It has a team of young professionals with multidisciplinary specialization i.e. crop management, agriculture, social, animal husbandry, capacity building, farm and non farm sector, horticulture development, health etc.

Emphasis on grass root level mobilization and village institutions, it has excellent working relationship with government department achieving good end results.

Good working network as operating in 4 districts of Maharashtra at present with three field level offices including its HQ.  

Infrastructure and faculty available for training on various developmental issues.
